COR 80 Aluminium Windows

Built for better thermal performance.

A deeper thermally broken aluminium window system designed for projects where insulation, substantial glazing and clean contemporary detailing all need to work together.

Thermal performance Uw from 0.66 W/m²K
Frame / sash 80 mm Deeper window platform
Glazing 36–51 mm Broad glazing capacity
Maximum sash 160 kg Depending on typology
Why COR 80 When the thermal specification needs more headroom than a slimmer window platform.

The 80 mm frame depth, 45 mm polyamide strip and glazing capacity up to 51 mm make COR 80 especially relevant to projects with stronger energy-performance requirements.

Hidden sash flexibility

High performance without making the window look heavy.

Compatible hidden-sash configurations allow COR 80 to retain a cleaner appearance while still providing practical side-hung and tilt & turn opening options.

COR 80 style aluminium tilt and turn window in a contemporary interior
Tilt & Turn Controlled ventilation when tilted, with a much wider inward opening when required.
01 / Closed

Clean when shut

Hidden-sash detailing allows the opening sash to read more like a fixed glazed element from the front.

02 / Tilt

Gentle ventilation

The top of the sash tilts inward where background ventilation is needed without fully opening the window.

03 / Turn

Full inward opening

The sash can open from the side where greater ventilation or easier access to the glazing is required.

The balance More insulation and glazing capacity without giving up a restrained window aesthetic.

That makes COR 80 particularly suited to contemporary homes and lower-energy projects where window performance is part of the architectural specification rather than an afterthought.

Inside the system

The extra depth is there for a reason.

COR 80 uses a deeper thermally broken aluminium platform, increased polyamide separation and insulated frame and sash construction to push the window's thermal performance further.

Thermal construction

More separation between inside and out.

COR 80 combines its 80 mm frame depth with a 45 mm polyamide thermal break and additional insulation within the frame and sash.

Polyamide strip 45 mm A deeper thermal break than the COR 70 platform.
Profile 1.9 mm
Glazing capacity Up to 51 mm
ARCH invisible handle compatible with COR 80 Hidden Sash aluminium windows
Hidden-sash hardware

Higher performance does not require more visual clutter.

COR 80 Hidden Sash is compatible with the ARCH Invisible Handle, allowing the operating hardware to remain discreet within the sash.

System capability

Designed around demanding window specifications.

COR 80 combines its thermal performance with substantial sash dimensions and glazing capacity, making it suitable for projects where window size and energy performance both matter.

Standard solution 1300 × 2400 mm

Maximum stated standard sash dimensions.

HD side hung 1200 × 3500 mm

Maximum stated dimensions when using the heavy-duty side-hung hinge configuration.

Maximum sash 160 kg

Final limits depend on the selected window typology, glazing and hardware.

COR 80 specification A deeper window platform for projects where insulation and glazing specification carry more weight.
Frame depth 80 mm
Sash depth 80 mm
Polyamide strip 45 mm
Profile thickness 1.9 mm
Glazing 36–51 mm
Construction Thermally broken
Project fit

Where stronger window performance is part of the brief.

COR 80 makes most sense when the project needs the clean appearance of contemporary aluminium windows but places greater emphasis on insulation, glazing and overall energy performance.

01
Low-energy homes

Particularly relevant where window U-values form an important part of the overall energy strategy.

02
High-specification new builds

The deeper frame and greater glazing capacity suit projects with more demanding envelope requirements.

03
Larger opening sashes

Heavy-duty hinge configurations allow particularly tall side-hung sash proportions where appropriate.

04
Clean contemporary elevations

Hidden-sash and discreet hardware options help the higher-performing window remain visually restrained.

Maximum sash dimensions and weights depend on the final typology. Glazing, hardware, thermal targets and opening configuration should be confirmed against the individual project.
